How can I print from my laptop or tablet?
Answer
With Web Print you can send a file to be printed from any of the library's public computers.
Start by visiting webprint.manhattan.edu and log in like you would for your email. This will take you to your Summary screen, choose the menu item at the bottom of the list that says Web Print.
On that screen, if you have any pending print jobs, they will be listed. To send something to print, select the button up top that says Submit a Job.
This takes you to a screen that lists the different printers available to you in the library. Select the circle for the printer you want to send your print job to. Remember, you enter the library on the fifth floor, so if you send it to the first floor printer, you'll have to go to the computer lab down on the first floor to get it. Click the button at the bottom to continue.
Select how many copies you need and then click on the button that says Upload Documents to select what you want to send to be printed.
On this page, you can drag and drop the files that you want to print, or use the button that says Upload from computer in order to send it to be printed. The acceptable file types are: Microsoft Excel xlam, xls, xlsb, xlsm, xlsx, xltm, xltx Microsoft PowerPoint pot, potm, potx, ppam, pps, ppsm, ppsx, ppt, pptm, pptx Microsoft Word doc, docm, docx, dot, dotm, dotx, rtf, txt PDF pdf Picture Files bmp, dib, gif, jfif, jif, jpe, jpeg, jpg, png, tif, tiff XPS xps
Select the button that says Upload & Complete. It will take you back to the Submit a Job screen and it will show you what your status on that job is, and let you know when it has finished sending and is in the queue to be printed.
