Can I access The New York Times online?
Answer
For access to The New York Times online, full access to the NYTimes.com page and the NY Times smart phone app, register (and create your own account) using your Manhattan University email address from this page. You must access this page through the links provided above, or from the library's Databases A-Z pages and selecting New York Times Digital. The process is the same if you have gotten a message that your account is expired and you have to renew it.
Once you have set up your account, you can access the New York Times online directly from their website without going through the library website. Just log in using the personal account that you created. This is not the case with other magazines or newspapers you can access from the library website, just the New York Times.
Note: All NYTimes.com Digital Pass users have unlimited access to the New York Times archived articles outside the 1923–1980 date range. Each day of their pass, users may access up to five complimentary articles published between the years 1923 through 1980. NYTimes apps are not supported on all devices. Passes do not include e-reader editions, Times Premier content or digital versions of The New York Times Crossword.
All Digital Access pass users do not have the ability to share their digital access. Additional restrictions may apply.
